Sikkim educational tour – Itinerary

Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Kakarvitta by bus or fly to bhadrapur,
our guide will go with you from Kathmandu. Cross the Nepal – India boarder and drive to Darjeeling (7,200 ft. / 95 km / 4 hours), The Queen of Hill’s. On the way we will take short break for packet lunch. Arrivals at Darjeeling check in at your hotel. Evening free for walk in the Mall, where you will get curio and handicraft shop. Overnight stay at selected hotel.

Day 2: Educational Tour botanical garden,
Early morning get ready for an exciting excursion tour to Tiger Hill (8,500 ft), the famous sunrise point in eastern Himalaya and get the breathtaking view of the changing color reflection over the Mt. Khnagchendzonga peak and en route back to hotel visit Batasia Loop, this is a war memorial also visit Ghoom Monastery, one of the oldest monastery. Full day free in botanical garden. Lloyd Botanical garden - The varied collection of orchids is 50 rare varieties and the Orchidarium has a housing of 2,500 plants. Wrapped in mists and clouds a garden with an incredible variety of orchids, rhododendrons, gladioli and a host of other flowers. It is a brilliant garden with rare specimens of plants and orchids. Evening free to join in a delighted cultural evening at Darjeeling Night angle Park, where the different traditional folk dance present by local people. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3: Darjeeling – Gangtok,
Today after breakfast city tour of Darjeeling and afternoon proceed for Gangtok (5500ft. /124 km. /4 hours), the capital city of Sikkim state (Sikkim is the 23rd.state of India) which also known as most peaceful & beautiful state in India. En route get set for full of fun, adventure, excitement and entertainment on the thrilling of White Water Rafting in Teesta River (optional), which is rolling down by its unique style from the top of the Himalaya. On arrival at Gangtok check in into your hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 4: East Sikkim educational tour,
Today after breakfast drive up for a memorable excursion tour to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. /39 km), this is one of the highest altitude Himalayan Lake. Most beautiful this oval shape lake almost 1 km long with its average depth 50 ft and situated in east Sikkim Himalaya. Again drive up for Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial – Baba Mandir (13,000 ft/15 km/30 minute). Back to Gangtok and evening free for M.G Marg. the popular shopping area in Gangtok. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 5: Morning breakfast, drive to Nepal boarder (kakarvitta) and local bus drive to kathmandu or drive to bhadrapur airport and fly to Kathmandu. Overnight hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 06: Transfer to airport, fly back to home.
