Region: Tilicho peak
Climbing Season: Spring
Best season: Late Sept. to Oct. & April to May.
Duration: 37 days
This peak is more challenging and difficult to climb than other mountains having height of the around 7000m. The way to this mountain climbing has two ways up to it's base camp. One way goes via Marsyangid valley route and another way goes via Kaligandaki valley route. If the teams go through Kalikandaki valley then it is very hard to cross the Messocanto pass, which is situated at 5300m.altitude From the top of this Messokanto pass, the tranquil view of Tilicho lake can be seen.
The base camp is located near the Tilicho Lake at 4800m high. It takes a few days rest for acclimatization at this base camp. The camp 1 at 5800m is located on a long way distance through the ridges of the mountain. It is little bit hard times to reach and climb on the camp 1. From there also the panoramic view of Tilicho Lake down below can be seen.

Mission Eco Trek is professionals at operating at high-altitude. Each trip we run has a realistic acclimatization programme. Our entire adventure trips are designed to allow gradual height gain, spread over a number of days. High altitude is not predictable sickness, so there is no way of predicting who will suffer from altitude but, for the vast majority of people, a slow ascent to height will produce minimal effects. We can provide 'Gamow Bag' as a precautionary measure as per your request on renting basis. Acclimatizing takes time and there are no safe shortcuts. All trips to altitudes in excess of 3,000 meters carry medicines essential to the treatment of altitude sickness, and our leaders, guides and staffs are well trained to administer them and to know the symptoms.
