Ramdung Peak (5930m) is situated south of the Tesilapcha pass, which borders Khumbu and the enormous Rolwaling valley. Crossing the pass into the remote valley of Rolwaling takes us to the rarely climbed peak of Ramdung. Your climb of this 'hidden peak' of the Himalayan wilderness commences with a trek into the Rolwaling valley, just recently opened to the trekkers. We first make an ascent up lower Ramdung, which, despite its lack of height compared to Parchamo, offers a challenging climb, requiring two high camps on the northeast face route.
Following the trekking glacier, you arrive near the Tesilapcha pass and prepare for the climb to Pharchemo and establishing a high camp. Climbing Parchamo, following its northwest ridge leads on to Ramdung summit. After the summit, trek through the famous Sherpa country of Khumbu, ending the trip in Lukla, from where you will board a plane to come back to Kathmandu.

Mission Eco Trek is professionals at operating at high-altitude. Each trip we run has a realistic acclimatization programme. Our entire adventure trips are designed to allow gradual height gain, spread over a number of days. High altitude is not predictable sickness, so there is no way of predicting who will suffer from altitude but, for the vast majority of people, a slow ascent to height will produce minimal effects. We can provide 'Gamow Bag' as a precautionary measure as per your request on renting basis. Acclimatizing takes time and there are no safe shortcuts. All trips to altitudes in excess of 3,000 meters carry medicines essential to the treatment of altitude sickness, and our leaders, guides and staffs are well trained to administer them and to know the symptoms.
